Aileron squadrons are groups of multiple drones that each specialize in a task, or a role in a specific operation. These individual units self-coordinate with each other, requiring minimal or no interaction from the controlling/ supervising user.
Squadrons can be flown in different formations, that can be selected during pre-flight procedures.
Aileron response-grade vessels are capable of two broad response (attack) types, namely "dot-range" and "wide-range". These response types depend in terms of accuracy, delivery method and ammunition.
While the packages/ ammunition being delivered depends per use case, some general examples may be bombing (wide-range) and pellet shooting (dot-range).
